Beyoncé announces the Renaissance World Tour,
her first solo tour since 2016.
The tour begins on May 10th in Stockholm, and will run for 40+ dates across Europe and North America.
Limited tickets will go on sale starting Monday for members of the BeyHive fan club.
The tour will be produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation.
The tour will use Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system to limit bots and scalpers.
This will be one of the first major tests for Ticketmaster after the Eras Tour last year led to fan backlash and regulatory scrutiny.
This will be Beyoncé's first live events available to the public since the On the Run II tour with Jay-Z in 2018.
Beyoncé's Coachella performance in 2018 was released as a live album and concert film.
Beyoncé made a return to the pop mainstream with the release of the album “Renaissance” in July 2022.
Major music touring has largely recovered since the Covid-19 pandemic, and touring grossed a record-setting $6.28 billion last year.
